S & T Bank Data Entry Transaction Specialist in Indiana, Pennsylvania

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 7:00pm (Hours will vary to meet the needs of the department; schedule can vary).
Function: Performs various duties in support of bank transaction processing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data entry of all exceptions/rejects of POD/in clearing transactions after processing via Branch Capture
Balance POD customer/teller transactions after processing via Branch Capture
Research customer/teller transactions found to be out-of-balance and prepare appropriate correction and customer/teller correction notices.
Scan transactions from various departments and provide scanner support to branches/departments.
Performs on-line data entry of refund/reversal transactions from branches/departments sent via intranet.
Reviews Mobile Deposits and Remote Deposit Capture transactions, to assess, react and report risk concerns related to these applications.
Sorts interoffice mail
Responsible for assisting the Team Lead and Asst Manager- in training -Data Entry Transaction Specialists.
Responsible for assisting other team members in more complex phases of their work.
Operates equipment which includes PC, Branch scanners, adding machine.
Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
Performs additional duties as required.
Physical Demands Operates a keypad device: 98% of the day; operates office equipment: 2% of the day. Sitting is required 99% of the day in a straight position. Utilizes fingers and manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 95% of the shift. Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18"-20" for a period of up to 95% of the shift.
Education Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
Experience Requires up to one-year general business experience.

Salary Range:
$15.00 - $19.23
