Job Summary:

The Solar OandM Project Manager oversees the initiation of service and maintenance of commercial solar installations. This position manages the system monitoring, performance evaluation and service technician teams. This role spans both technical services and managing customer relationships.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversees the reactive and preventative maintenance processes and schedules for operational assets by reviewing, approving and providing technical feedback on preventative maintenance activities.

Manages and assists in reviewing commissioning deliverables of new assets.

Recognizes emergency situations at solar facilities and responds to those situations in a manner that effectively reduces system downtime, reduces revenue loss and prioritizes on-site personnel safety.

Develop and manage Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for onsite and offsite personnel to follow in the event of emergency situations.

Supports in developing PV repowering/revamping offerings and establishing SOPs.

Communicates with customers and assists with delivering relevant information as needed.

Develop and implement strategies to ensure service levels are maintained, addressing both the quality of technical services and customer relations.

Supports establishing a network of suppliers and sub-contractors suitable for the PV repowering/revamping projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent written/verbal communication, project management and organizational skills.

Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment (Microsoft Office Products) required.

Safety trained for field work; OSHA 30 certificate preferred.
