Responsibilities

• Works with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features, leveraging feedback to incorporate insights into future designs.

• Contributes to the architecture and design process, ensuring solutions meet security and compliance requirements.

• Assures quality of solutions, defines success for outcomes of tests, and integrates automation features for testing.

• Identifies dependencies and contributes to the development of design documents, understanding downstream effects of solutions.

• Creates and implements maintainable and extensible code, applying best practices and considering diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Reviews code to assure it meets quality standards and participates in code reviews.

• Executes project plans and work items, contributes to experimentation for feature testing, and supports deployment to customers.

• Maintains operations of live services, acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for live site issues, and contributes to telemetry and data analysis efforts.

Engineering Excellence:

• Shares new ideas and contributes to the development of engineering tools and automation, ensuring processes meet security, privacy, and compliance expectations.

• Stays current with developments to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Microsoft web technologies and Azure.

• Proven experience in full-stack development, including but not limited to backend (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API), frontend (ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript frameworks- Angular/React etc.) and database (SQL etc.) development.

• Hands-on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.

• Familiarity with SOLID principles and experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and implement effective solutions.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in both backend and frontend components, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on users.

• Understanding of coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Experience with observability tools and practices, such as application performance monitoring (APM), logging, tracing, and telemetry.

• Nice-to-have: Understanding of AI/ML concepts and GEN AI technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
