Overview: The Procurement Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the company’s procurement activities to Support Transactional, Data management, and strategic initiatives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Management Support:

  • Work assignments are in alignment with the specific category manager initiatives.

  • Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data to identify trends, by supplier, category, business locations, etc.,

  • Support the procurement team in making data-driven decisions by providing actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement data needs and provide relevant analysis.

  • Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Monitor supplier performance and compliance using data analytics.

  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity in procurement systems and databases.

  • Support procurement projects and initiatives by providing data analysis and reporting.

  • Work with the market research team to support sourcing decisions.

Master Data:

  • Create, update, and maintain master data records in the company’s systems.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all data sources( Catalogs, Punchouts, etc.,)

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to support data management on Item masters/Service Masters/ Taxonomy queries etc.,

Supplier Diversity:

  • Maintain, update, and publish the Supplier Diversity Reports monthly.

  • Adding the Vendors as identified under specific diversification.

Work Instructions/Job Aids:

  • Create and Maintain job aids and SOPs as required.

  • WI’s for BPA/CAP, Requisitions, etc.,

  • Quarterly reporting on maintenance of the SOP’s.

  • Perform regular updates and take signoffs with relevant parties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience :

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.

  • Working knowledge of the Procure to Pay cycle.

  • ERP knowledge and experience are a must.
