We’re hiring an HR Business Partner to be part of the HRBP team supporting the ISD Global Delivery Center, India and ISD Asia - both of which are part of the Worldwide Industry Solutions Delivery organization.

Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) is a global organization hosting over 6000 strategic sellers, industry and security experts, elite engineers, world-class data scientists and architects, consultants, and delivery specialists. ISD is at the forefront of innovation, driving value across the entirety of the customers’ digital and AI transformation journey through repeatable and customized cutting-edge solutions powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI. ISD shapes some of our largest AI Transformation engagements directly and through partners and continues to play a critical in customers realizing the value of AI.

The Global Delivery Center (GDC) is a strong 1500-member organization, primarily based in India, spread across 3 major sites - Hyderabad, Bangalore & Noida. GDC is a center of deep technical expertise, customer innovation and delivery excellence and is core to all ISD’s transformation projects with customers across the world. GDC also includes the Partner Delivery Orchestration Center (PDOC), a strategic engine, built with a select group of GSIs on a sell-with and deliver-with strategy, to migrate emerging and mature workloads to the cloud, at scale, for Microsoft customers, to enable their digital transformation journeys.

ISD Asia is the Region Aligned Delivery Organization helping Microsoft’s most strategic customers in the Asia region to address their specific challenges and provide comprehensive and industry-specific solutions to meet their unique needs. ISD Asia represents a rich talent pool of Architects, Consultants, Delivery Specialists, including elite Engineers enabling digital transformation journeys for Microsoft customers in ANZ, GCR, Japan, ASEAN, India and Korea.

This HRBP role provides you a unique opportunity to drive both Geo and Region aligned people charters for GDC and ISD Asia respectively, in close partnership and through strong collaboration with the WW ISD HR Teams, truly enabling you to harness the power of a global matrixed organization and hone your skills to navigate and make impact in a large global organizational context. The core responsibilities in this HRBP role will span across 3 areas: Organization System, Leadership, and Talent Management. Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to drive the people agenda and strengthen the organization to deliver business results and increase impact. Translate business strategies into people and organizational priorities and help drive strategy, create clarity and necessary alignment.

  • Coach leaders and use diagnostic insights to recommend organizational effectiveness solutions, and design and implement them.

  • You will identify areas in need of change and lead the implementation of new structures, programs and processes. You’ll also evaluate internal and external business drivers and environmental factors to encourage employees to adopt new changes.

  • Act as a liaison between Business and the HR COEs such as Talent Acquisition, D&I, C&B and other extended teams to achieve talent, organization, and business objectives.

  • You will need to have a strong partnership with HRBPs and other stakeholders in the Global HR Teams, to drive alignment on people priorities and build a relationship to exchange ideas, share challenges and influence outcomes.

  • You will identify talent strengths and needs, and help build strategic talent plans that align with organizational strategy, data, and budgets. You’ll also implement talent movement plans and develop the diversity and inclusion plan for the org.

  • You will assess data and present findings on leadership effectiveness and performance, as well as coach senior leaders on improving leadership capabilities. You’ll also help leadership identify ways to drive clarity and address gaps in strategy execution.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years work experience in HR Business Partnership, HR Process or in other related HR roles.

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 5+ years work experience in HR Business Partnership, HR Process or in other related HR roles.

  • Expertise in HR domains such as Leadership Development, Organisational Effectiveness, Talent Management & Leadership Team Effectiveness, etc.

  • Experienced in working with a global company in a matrix environment to land business and people outcomes.

  • Ability to influence on talent and org decisions by proactively applying systems thinking, leveraging data and surfacing actionable insight.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 9+ years work experience in HR Business Partnership, HR Process or in other related HR role.

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 7+ years work experience in HR Business Partnership, HR Process or in other related HR role.

  • Experienced in driving HR programs, project management, change management.

  • Optimize for the HRBP flywheel; drives strong engagement with partners in HR COEs to develop shared understanding on process and outcomes.
