Oracle Consulting Technical Manager - PPM in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

Our architects own the architectural design of Oracle solutions for prospective and existing customers. They also drive profitable growth by developing market-relevant insights to increase market share or works on the development of ‘go to market solutions’. These are senior roles to act as trusted advisor for customers.

Due to our strong growth, a need exists for an experienced Financials Architect with a focus on functional process architecture and design across the Finance domain.

This role ensures solution feasibility and mitigates risk by leveraging a network of subject matter experts in the various domains. The Architect is also capable of proposing customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solution.

The ERP Architect is responsible for designing, developing and supporting business solutions leveraging the latest versions of Oracle ERP Cloud, including modules like Project Portfolio Management, Financials, Procure to Pay/Order to Cash

The Architect will be working on client-billable and pre-sales assignments. These roles are Client Facing and have a direct impact on Consulting. Working closely with our clients, Oracle Consulting professionals design, build and implement strategic Solutions that can help enhance Client business performance.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients

  • Develop compelling, profitable and deliverable customer solutions

  • Be commercially astute when engaging and advising a client

  • Adapts existing methods to create alternative solutions to solve complex business problems

  • Act as ambassadors for Oracle application solutions throughout a customer engagement

  • Work closely with client, sales, pre-sales and delivery staff to develop a robust architecture

  • Take full ownership of “best practice” of their competency area, covering the whole strategic footprint

  • Take full accountability for the architectural solution of a pre-sales opportunity or project

  • Form and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in product development

  • Manage the re-use and knowledge management of their competency area

  • Provide sales awareness to the sales and delivery community within the Oracle Consulting

  • Interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Oracle

  • Support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of PPM solutions across a wide range of industries .

  • Support development of the Oracles IP by driving initiatives around market research, Points-of-View, capability development, thought capital, knowledge management, etc.

Requirements:

  • Over 15 years of combined finance, PPM and ERP consulting implementing experience including business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery.

  • Solid understanding of the Projects and Portfolio Management (PPM) function, operating models and supporting organization structures, and process best practices.

  • Working knowledge of PPM modules across technologies, viz EBS R12, PeopleSoft, JDE, Fusion (Project Cost Control , Project Billing, Project Budgeting, Project Foundation, Project Execution Modules and Grants Management)),

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document and understand requirements

  • Strong competence in developing presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))

  • Must have excellent leadership, facilitation, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions and ideas

  • Can demonstrate a strong awareness of the differences between cloud and on-premise solutions and their benefits

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment and structured decision-making

  • Industry experience (Telecommunications, Banking and Financial Services, Public Sector Retail, Engineering and Construction, Professional services)

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, Advanced Degree like a CA, CPA, ICWA, MBA Finance is desirable

  • It is our intention for our people to work where they live. However, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there will be times when you will need to travel. The role expects around 60% travel in a year.

  • Additional knowledge and implementation experience in Fusion ERP Financials ( GL. AP, AR, CE, FAH, FA) suite of products will be a definite advantage. #LI-DNI
