Heartland AEA has a full-time Occupational Therapist position available for the 2025-26 school year, in Service Area 1 & 2. This position will be serving children birth - 21 in Boone CSD, Madrid CSD, Ogden CSD, Perry CSD, United CSD, Greene County CSD & Payton-Churdan CSD. This position will have a 192-day contract and will organize and administer the occupational therapy component of the educational program for children and youth with disabilities who have special needs in education because of impairment in self-care, mealtime skills and/or manipulation skills. The office location for this positions could be Adel, Ames, Carroll or Guthrie Center.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must have completed an occupational therapy program, have a current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Iowa and obtain a Statement of Professional Recognition from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners. Pediatric experience preferred.
