Responsibilities
Provides program leadership with a real-time snapshot of program funding, as compared to the plan
Participate in program planning of funding, schedule, and personnel assignments assessing shared resources, trade-offs, and funding limitations
Liaison back to contracts and accounting for invoicing, FAR, and reconciliation between real-time program expenses and accounting procedures and guidelines
Work with production and technical leads to determined allocation of hours for the following week
Communicate and verify program control allocations in CostPoint
Communicate with each technician instructions for how to allocate their time to appropriate production area
Track Actual Unit Cost
Pull material costs from CostPoint
Pull labor hours from manufacturing reports and SMITE
Create a living document tracking per unit cost
Track efficiencies gained over time
Conduct financial analysis:
Allocated vs. planned
Translate to production schedule (ahead/behind/etc.)
CDRLs-7/14/30 day snapshot of CDRLs
Track purchases vs the proposal for variances which could cause program leadership to decide to invoke EPA clause
Brief program leadership providing a snapshot of the over/under, a holistic procurement analysis, etc.
Monthly Programmatic Review
Prepare and conduct a comprehensive budget review of the previous period NLT 10th of the following
Support program leadership in analyzing costs associated with production TDP
CSDR inputs
Bi-weekly updates for PM MAV IPT
Updates spend plan to be delivered with all PBP invoices
Track Subcontractor cost inputs and cost impacts
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements and Desired Skillsets
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years demonstrated relevant experience.
Knowledge of CostPoint and FAR
Strong Attention to Detail
Intermediate Level of MS Excel Proficiency
Physical Description
Employees in these positions will function in a general office/cubicle setting environment, and laboratory/testing setting using standard office equipment and various electronic testing equipment, including a computer, telephone, printers, video equipment, computer software and testing equipment. Will interact in a general office setting environment with various personnel; participate in meetings and contribute to team success; deliver timely results and produce reports; receive and communicate information; may include telework. May function in a specialized laboratory/testing environment using electronic testing equipment, computer software and complex systems. May move and test equipment of various weights. Laboratory environment may require use of protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to safety glasses and protective hearing and footwear. May be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization due to business demands; travel occasionally for assigned work.
