Program Summary

Defense Systems Engineering (DSE) Air and Missile Defense

Missile, Aviation and Ground Systems (MAGS) division is focused on Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and related Foreign Military Sales (FMS). MAGS delivers systems engineering and integration (SE&I), prototyping and key technology infusions including digital engineering, autonomy, AI, cyber and green energy to Army aviation platforms and missile systems along with related sensors, battle command and fire control systems, ground combat systems and ground support systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Product Support Manager in development and implementation of comprehensive product support strategies for a major Army weapon system.

  • Develop ideas and guide their development into a final product. Ensure appropriate cost analyses are documented to validate the product support strategy. At the Product Support Manager’s direction review product support arrangements between the Product Support Integrators and Product Support Providers to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategies.

  • Synchronize and direct the execution of logistics operations between the Product Support Manager and the Product Support Integrators. Support the Product Support Manager Life Cycle initiatives to ensure achievement of desired product support outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements.

  • Provide coordinated responses and assess accuracy for senior management review. Identify erroneous decisions or recommendations that would result in failure to achieve critical project objectives. Develop and maintain administrative processes that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA and 8 years’ experience in related field or HS and 15 years of specialized experience in related field.

  • Secret Security Clearance

  • Have the capability of obtaining and evaluating large amounts of data and necessary to have outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and report writing skills are necessary.

  • Advanced computer abilities and familiarity with a variety of databases and software systems are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of the Army regulations for Type Classification (TC) and Materiel Release (MR)

  • Experience with Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and Business Case Analysis (BCA

  • Experience with Technical Manuals and Publications

  • Level III in Life Cycle Logistics Certification
