Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

As a Fabricator, you'll be working on a diverse range of projects, primarily for county road commission trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. Your responsibilities will involve fabricating truck body parts, using various measure tools and reading blueprints. You'll be cutting material using plasma cutters or shears, and using a range of tools including punch press, drills, and saws to fabricate and weld (MIG or ARC) equipment. A significant part of your role will be daily communication with the shop manager.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Howell, Michigan.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, 1st shift position. Current working hours are 7am to 5pm, with 9.5 hour days from Monday to Friday. There are also 2 Saturday shifts per month from 7am to 11am. Our company specializes in snow and ice truck equipment and buildups, along with body repairs on buses, mail trucks, and other large heavy vehicles. Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent attendance and a high work ethic.
