Job Title: Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. You will be working on a project for county road commission trucks and other heavy-duty trucks. Your primary responsibilities will include fabricating truck body parts using measure tools, reading blueprints, and cutting materials using plasma cutters or shears. You will also be using punch presses, drills, saws, and other tools to fabricate and weld (MIG or ARC) equipment. Daily communication with the shop manager is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate truck body parts using measure tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints.

  • Cut materials using plasma cutters or shears.

  • Operate punch presses, drills, saws, and other tools.

  • Perform MIG or ARC welding on equipment.

  • Communicate with the shop manager on a daily basis.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience in MIG welding.

  • 5 years of experience welding on steel material.

  • 1 year of experience reading blueprints.

  • 5 years of experience using tools such as cutting tools, impact wrenches, or torches.

  • Mechanically inclined.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
