We are offering an exciting opportunity in Houston, Texas, for a Tax Manager - Public to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Tax Department, coordinating tax planning strategies for our clients. This role is integral to maintaining our commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the execution of state and federal tax returns for complex individuals, as well as trusts and estates

• Develop and present federal and state tax return material for partnerships and S-Corporations, which includes the initiation of working trial balance in Excel

• Systematize and formulate tax data pertinent for data entry using Lacerte tax software

• Contribute assistance to tax-related considerations, forecasting, and queries from the IRS

  Requirements

• CPA or Enrolled Agent

• Minimum of 4 years of tax experience

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Annual Income Tax Provision

• Auditing skills

• Strong knowledge of Compliance procedures
