About the role:

Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Strategy Consultant position located in the Houston, Texas; Mossville, Illinois; or Dallas, Texas facilities. Caterpillar Specialized Commercial Solutions (CSCS) is seeking a Strategy Consultant who will oversee and coordinate all sales and various solution programs for the LATAM region. Supporting the development and execution of the development strategy with our business partners in the Latin America market.

Job responsibilities will Include but are not limited to:

  • Works with business partners across the organization and with outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect the voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for LATAM business growth.

  • Works closely with clients to define the business problem, issues, and planned approach for one or more S&P engagement components.

  • Planning and directing all projects viewed as critical to the department and the enterprise

  • Gather information and assess the market, including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs, and the company position in the industry by securing a leadership role within the trade associations, technical bodies, and schools particular to this sector.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing or related field or equivalent workexperience.

  • Fluent in Spanish and in English.

  • Experience in Latin America markets.

  • Strong negotiation experience to discuss and adjust proposal elements.

  • Ability to create tailored proposals that address the specific needs of the customer.

Additional Information:

  • Relocation assistance IS available for this role.

  • The primary location for this role is Houston, Texas, but can also be located in Dallas, Texas; and Mossville, Illinois.

  • 30-50% travel will be required for this position.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
