Robert Half is actively looking for a proactive Billing Clerk who has excellent organizational skills. This opening is based in the Downtown Houston, Texas area and is a long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary to full-time Billing Clerk opportunity. This Billing Clerk position will require the candidate to review bills and perform data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. Are you a hard-worker looking to develop your career? What you get to do every day

• Gauge billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary

• Construct financial procedures and controls

• Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency

• Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered

  Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferred

• Customer invoices experience

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Comprehensive knowledge of billing

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

• 3+ years of experience in a related role
