Title: Helper/Laborer Direct

Performs tasks that require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience. Will assist a skilled worker such as a machinist by performing specific or general duties such as: cleaning, disassembling, sanding, or prepping components.

§ Follow company policies and procedures.

§ Follow directions and / or instructions, as directed.

§ Process forms and document work by utilizing their endorsement, in accordance with the Quality Management System.

§ Notify immediate supervisor of any suspected un-airworthy condition noted while performing their duties.

§ Acquire and maintain hand tools, if necessary, to complete work assigned.

§ Clean, disassemble and identify components, with normal supervision.

§ Work in conjunction with higher grade Mechanics to further their job knowledge base through OJT with normal supervision.

§ Cleans work area, when required with minimal supervision.

§ Have a basic understanding of computer processes involved in daily operations.

§ Other various duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

§ Read, write, and understand English fluently. Identify and use basic hand tools.

§ Ability to learn and understand and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
