Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Medical Assistant, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Obtaining and verifying patient information and medical history.
• Assisting during patient examinations and treatments.
• Providing support to the front office team when needed.
• Performing diagnostic tests and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director, including:
• Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT)
• Electrocardiograms (EKG)
• Injections
• Audiograms
• Blood draws

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National Medical Assistant Certification.
• A minimum of 6 months of recent MA experience.
• Current two-step TB/Chest X-Ray clearance (completed within the past year).
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Federal fingerprint clearance is required.
