Senior Claims Executive

What the day will look like

  • Processing and assessment of claims including reviewing claims, requesting for support documents, adjudication and settlement of claims including giving instructions for claim payments.

  • Knowledgeable in all classes of commercial lines insurance, includes but not limited to EC, PDBI, PAR, Motor, PPL, Marine Cargo, CAR

  • Preparation of claims reports for business units

  • Servicing internal business units and clients at operational level requiring liaising and coordinating with insurers and third party services providers such as loss adjusters, rehabilitation managers and lawyers

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Post-secondary education or degree holder preferred

  • IIQE qualified or holder of ACII or ANZIIF (Associate) will be added advantage

  • 3-5 years processing commercial lines claims in insurance company

  • Claims handling experience in insurance broking firm is also preferable

  • Team work is essential whilst being proactive and working independently

  • Must be able to understand and interpret policy wordings precisely and apply the same to real claim cases

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably Cantonese)

  • Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
