The Architectural Drafter Supervisor will lead a team of drafters, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to design standards and project deadlines. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of architectural design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of architectural drafters, providing guidance and support

  • Review and approve draft designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements and standards

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project development and execution

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details

  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines, optimizing team workflow and productivity

  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance team skills and knowledge

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any design or drafting issues that arise during the project lifecycle

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve drafting processes and techniques

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural drafting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit

  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction documentation

  • Project Management skills for organizing and scheduling

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Work Environment

The team works in-office 5 days a week in a highly collaborative environment. The office features a large lunch/break room where team members can come together to share ideas, eat lunch, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
