About the Role

The Performance Manager is a critical component of the Finance team. They are a valued and trusted business partner to the whole organization. You will support the performance agenda including delivery of all financial metrics while ensuring a robust control and risk management environment. You will also bring to bear global finance processes, standards, teams, systems and data to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Role Accountabilities

• Deliver all metrics of the financial plan including P&L, cash delivery and balance sheet for their area of responsibility

• Provide support in driving business strategy and converting strategies into annual operating plans with recommended prioritization

• Support market trade spend management – systems updates, budget management

• Support the performance management process to ensure delivery of all metrics. This includes gap identification, appraisal and approval of measures to improve performance outcomes

• Identify business opportunities, risks and initiatives and provide standard methodology financial analysis and insights to support decision making

• Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of all finance activities

• Leverage analytical tools to improve forecasting, provide support to the commercial/marketing team, and drive efficient and effective decision making

• Drive holistic price / mix and gross margin improvements.

• Be guardian of the sustainability of the market share.

• Holding others to account to deliver their commitments.

Key Interactions

• Key business partner to whole organization, strong working relationship required with all key business leaders – GM, Supply, Marketing, Commercial, D2C and other parts of Finance

• Act as trusted business advisor to all members of company, actively supporting the business in improving overall performance

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages

• Bachelor’s degree in business (Accounting/Finance/Economics) or equivalent, with at least 5+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnership, Commercial Finance, Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Demonstrated experience in tackling intricate data analysis aided by Advanced Excel and Financial Modelling to draw data-led insights to drive impactful actions and decision-making.

• Strong business acumen with proven track record of delivering insights from data and storytelling in a multi-functional, matrixed environment.

• Ability to move between strategic thinking and operational detail

• Participative work style, strong team player and Interpersonal flexibility

• Highly organized; Exhibits independence; Quick learner; Resilient in the face of challenge

• Responsive to changing immediate demands of business while maintaining focus on overall priorities
