What we need

The Medicare Processor Control Associate will support areas within Government Programs Operations with opening and date stamping requests received by mail, fax, and email. The associate will need to sort the mail by area and type and distribute the documents when the scanning process is completed.

The Processor Control Associate is responsible for ensuring that all documents are distributed timely to remain in compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) regulatory and timeliness requirements. Heighten awareness of any aged document in need of being completed as a priority or if it is in jeopardy of being out of compliance.

This role includes working with our business partners from other areas and building a rapport with each department.

Your Day to Day

  1. Review member communications, stamp and prepare documents for scanning and distribute the mail to the appropriate area accurately and timely.

  2. Maintain member privacy including member’s personal health information, personal information (e.g., name, address, birth date, Social Security number, financial data) or other protections from privacy laws or policy.

  3. Support our Medicare Enrollment teams (Medicare Advantage, Medex, and our Part D PDP teams) by cross training on other enrollment functions and assist with inventory reduction and adhoc projects.

  4. Participate in providing coverage for inquiries received in the Medicare Enrollment dedicated mailboxes.

  5. Support the implementation of automated and digital processes that will improve our member’s experience and positively impact the growth of our membership.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work closely/successfully in a team environment or individually.

  • Ability to work additional hours during peak inventory periods (Notably during Open Enrollment from October – January).

  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to be cross trained to support other job functions to ensure business unit success.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven dynamic environment.

  • High degree of initiative; decision-making skills.

  • This position requires a resident persona onsite in our Hingham office.

Hourly Range: $20.26 - $24.76

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
