Job Description: The Medical Assistant (MA), while working within the scope of only those acts which are delegated by the supervising physician or registered nurse (RN), provides direct patient care to assist in meeting individual and age-specific needs of patients and families/significant others. This responsibility includes provision of compassionate, safe, and competent care as delegated by physician or RN. The MA receives daily direction and provides daily organizational support for the physician and team.
