The Fab Repairs/Spares Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance. This role involves negotiating complex agreements, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. By leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, the Category Manager ensures operational efficiency and long-term sourcing success. Additionally, this position provides guidance to procurement teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities for assigned categories, including sourcing goods and services, negotiating complex agreements, and managing supplier relationships. Develop and implement strategic, long-term procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance. Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Monitor supplier performance using key metrics and conduct regular business reviews to drive continuous improvement. Initiate and lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance cost savings, operational efficiency, and system capabilities. Analyze complex procurement challenges, leveraging data-driven insights to develop innovative sourcing solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to foster strategic partnerships. Provide guidance and support to Purchasing Analysts in daily procurement operations and training initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience required 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment. Experience executing category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance. Experience monitoring supplier performance and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and procurement metrics. Prior experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems Must be willing to travel up to 15 percent of the time Preferred Qualifications: Master\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP. Experience working with suppliers of Semiconductor Spare Parts or OEM vendors Prior experience working with SAP strongly preferred The strong preference is for this position to be located in our Greensboro NC office. However, we are also open to this position being located in our Richardson TX or Hillsboro OR offices. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
