Job Summary
A BaaS Administrator performs work in support of the department's operational requirements such as handling transaction maintenance, processing and reporting for the Banking as a Service (BaaS) portfolio of accounts. This portfolio includes FinTech, Institutional and Government Banking accounts among other similar types of accounts. Responsible for opening accounts, customer due diligence and related account maintenance activity of predominately business-related accounts. Support Relationship Managers in maintaining a high level of service with client relationships. Reviews, records, reconciles and monitors transactional activity in support of BaaS operations.

Pay Range: $19.85 - $28.15 - $36.46

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists with onboarding BaaS partnerships and related account opening needs and related customer due diligence.
  • Processes daily transactional needs of BaaS clients; including account opening, preparation of deposit and withdrawal forms, wire transfer preparation, closing and rollover of CDs.
  • Monitors BaaS deposit reports to ensure transaction accuracy and identify exceptions.
  • Assists with account maintenance such as resolving account/product issues, implementing rate changes on Fiserv DNA, special account (e.g. custodial) set-ups and maintenance, adjustments & updates, and statement needs.
  • Provide support to Government BaaS program efforts and state/municipal banking activities.
  • Performs monthly processing, rate updates, and interest adjustments where needed, including GL reconciliations.
  • Maintains files, policies, procedures and updates records as needed.
  • Prepares departmental reports and distributes to department leadership.
  • Coordinates requests related to account portfolio brought forth through reviews (e.g. Financial Crimes Compliance, Risk Management, etc.).
  • Performs various account maintenance for client accounts.
  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.


Job Requirements:
  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent, required
  • 3 Years in banking/financial services experience, required
  • College, Vocational or Associates Degree (2 years or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting, preferred
  • Knowledge of banking policies and procedures and Fiserv DNA system, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar
  • Ability to effectively document procedures and write business reports
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, excellent time management and work prioritization skills
  • Strong organization & planning skills
  • Ability to multi task and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines
  • Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting
