We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a meat processing plant in Hialeah. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. This position requires a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with a focus on food processing and packaging machinery. Responsibilities

● Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment, including meat processing and packaging machinery.

● Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.

● Install, align, and set up new equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

● Diagnose issues using blueprints, diagrams, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.

● Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety protocols.

● Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including parts used and time spent on repairs.

● Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and prevent future malfunctions.

● Perform welding, fabricating, and machining tasks as necessary for equipment repair

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
