Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Description

Hiring for Structural Engineer to support a full-service firm with in-house architects, MEP, and Structural Engineers. Specializing in mission-critical design, telecommunications infrastructure, historic preservation, and federal projects, the Structural Engineer will assist in creating construction documents and collaborating with in-house architects and MEP engineers, Project Managers, and working with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel.

• Develop and produce detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.

• Learn and apply knowledge of cold-formed steel framing design in various projects.

• Conduct job site visits and may require occasional travel.

• Learn and develop skills in BIM modeling.

Essential Skills

• High proficiency in AutoCAD

• Proficiency or experience working in Revit

• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis).

• 1+ years of direct design experience for ground-up structures and facilities.

• EIT certification or ability to pass EIT within a year.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in structural engineering and design.

• Knowledge and application of cold-formed steel framing design.

• Skills in BIM modeling.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
