We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at WCDL in Hawthorne, CA for a Shipping and Receiving Manager.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Performs all management responsibilities of the shipping and receiving department including fulfillment and partners with logistics
Develop and manage department benchmarks and expectations that align with the organization’s goals
Has the ability to perform all tasks in the department
Performs all management responsibilities of the department
Manage, delegate daily duties to team supervisor(s) and staff
Manage staff schedules to ensure production needs are met
Design, implement and manage systems that provide smooth and efficient work distribution, movement of exception cases and training processes that will ensure adherence to procedures and SOPs
Provide verification system that frequently “checks” the knowledge of team members
Work with the Supply Chain team to develop relationships with local airport warehouse staff and develop understanding of cargo drop-off and recovery to balance production needs with department capacity.
Manage the quality of output in shipping, receiving, and fulfillment departments and track results
Provide support and assistance to all co-workers, management and others throughout the organization regarding shipping, receiving, and fulfillment functions.
Responsible for preparing and shipping raw materials to be sent to production labs.
Receive incoming case materials from customers and properly disinfect them according to Company procedures
Provide alternative ideas and feedback relative to efficient production options for the shipping, receiving, logistics, and fulfillment team
Participates in continuous improvement and develops and shares best practices
Manage, develop and roll out KPIs to track and measure operational performance of the shipping and receiving department as well as the
Provide leadership to direct support staff for development purposes
Provide quality assurance of finished products and ensure they are properly packaged before delivery to customers
Schedule delivery of finished products to customers using timely and accurate invoicing methods
Maximize delivery schedules to service the customers timely and at a reasonable cost
Partner with other department leaders to identify learning opportunities
Liaise with record of customer complaints, review complaint patterns and report them to supervisor timely

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Required: 3-year prior management experience
Required: 3-year dental or manufacturing experience
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
