DIRECTOR OF LEARNING

The Hastings Public School District is a state and AdvancED accredited PreK-12 public school system located in south-central Nebraska serving approximately 3,500 students. The Districts diverse student population mostly lives within the city of Hastings, a community of over 25,000. The culture of the District emphasizes exceptional student learning, collaboration, and data-driven improvement.

All administrators in the District must be collaborative, organized, committed to accountability for all, and focused upon the success of every student both within and outside the classroom. They must possess strong communication skills and have an ability to work well with students, parents, and staff.

The Director of Learning is a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet. The Director of Learning works to assure a guaranteed and viable curriculum, proper assessment, and the use of data to improve student learning and the District.

A competitive salary/fringe benefit package will be provided and will depend upon the successful candidates qualifications. Only applicants with a Masters Degree or higher will be considered. Applicants must have, or be eligible for, proper administrative certification in Nebraska. Candidates with the ability to create and maintain a professional learning community culture are preferred.
