As a DevOps Architect for both DHE and BLC, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining DevOps functionality that automates software building and test execution for embedded operating systems. "Work with your team to create and guide strategy, direction, priorities and develop solutions aligning to business needs.

Coordinate DevOps work on multi-disciplined engineering projects from design to implementation and serves as an expert resource for other engineers.

Have in depth knowledge of Division goals and strategies and drives business objectives / improvements impacting division-wide measures.

Manages complex projects involving multiple components or systems for completeness and compatibility with organizational objectives and standards.

Ability to influence and drive people / activities on complex DevOps issues

Will work closely with developers, quality, and security teams to ensure quality and security are part of every step of the process.

Your work will be an example and used as a guideline for others in the organization.

Mentoring and upskilling the team mebers on devops new technologies and best pratices accross the industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required.

Required Experience:

"Over all 16+ years of experience with

• 5 years min experience creating/maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• 10 years min experience in software development

• 3 years min Experience leading and/or mentoring junior team members

• Administration of pipeline orchestration (ADO, GitHub, Jenkins or Similar)

• Usage of SAST and DAST tooling in automation pipelines

• Experience using Containers in pipelines as a controlled build environment

• Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code in a pipeline

• Monitor infrastructure health, system security, site stability and performance to ensure efficient use of computing resources"

Prefered Experience:

• C/C++ familiarity

• Azure DevOps and/or GitHub

• SAFe

• Azure cloud/Terraform

"• Experience writing functional and integration tests for Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks.

• Experience developing or enhancing complex/large scale test frameworks and libraries.

• Experience developing performance test framework for Embedded platforms.

• Experience with any scripting language like Python, Robot Framework, TestNG, Junit or similar build and unit testing frameworks.

• Experience with Issue and Project Tracking software (JIRA, TFS, etc.).

•Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and proficient in one of the IaC tools like Terraform, Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation, etc

•Experience with microservice deployment, docker containerization and one of its orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Mesos."

Skills:

• Able to maintain/manage both Windows and Linux environments

• Proficient in scripting language(s)

• Agile/Scrum

• Embedded (RTOS/Linux) or IOT device knowledge

• Proficient understanding of Source Control software and Code Collaboration tools (Git, SVN, etc.)
