Duties:
Project Management (PM) responsibilities include full Project Lifecycle Management for one or more System Integration related systems projects. PM will be accountable to deliver projects on time, within budget, with exceptional quality, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Bid to Complete engagement and ownership thru all aspects as per project management workflow
Project performance monitoring & forecasting (Percentage of Completion, Estimate to Complete, Estimate at Completion, Margin, Cash, Earned Value management)
Drive regular progress meetings (internal/external) and prepare supporting project reports
Prepare and maintain the project schedule
Define and own the staffing plan for the project with support from Operations
Management of sub-contractors
Manage materials workflow for the project (quotes, Purchase Order requisitions, bidding, procurement, expediting, receiving)
Conduct internal and external project reviews
Understand risks and manage accordingly
Change order management and negotiation
Strong collaboration with Operations, Finance, Sales, and HR departments
Perform or manage systematic quality checks of projects at all gates
Managing projects in real time and at the location of execution as required
Adherence to PA/ATS PMO processes, documentation requirements, and reporting
Resource coordination to ensure highest value of properly trained and utilized team
Transparency in all facets of project management
Lead with a “can do” attitude and foster the same throughout the project team
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Leverage Sr. Management and CoEs for problem solving and guidance as necessary.
Create a high-performance culture by setting high expectations, empowerment, providing coaching/feedback, and reviewing team performance to ensure the highest performance standards
Ensure that all activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct
Demonstrate leadership in Health & Safety compliance and drive a safe working culture
Additional Information
Education and Experience:
BS in either Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing related fields
PMP certification or MBA is a plus
Strong background knowledge in IT/OT
Minimum of five years of Automation related PM experience preferably within the Life science, Pharma, Biotech, and food industries.
Understanding and managing the levers to directly influence project timing, quality, and associated financial metrics (budget, utilization, margin expansion, timing, cost optimization, Earned Value management, etc.)
Strong experience with S88 project Management in a GMP regulated environment is a plus
Strong familiarity with GAMP and Good Documentation Practices
Experience managing a project portfolio of more than $5M, with project teams ranging from 2 to 20+ resources
Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in an intentional, focused, respectful, and highly engaged manner
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience using collaborative tools like Teams and SharePoint
Experience with Smartsheet is a plus
Experience with JDE, Oracle is a plus
