Duties: Will provide respectful customer service; Assist the Store Manager in the daily operation of a retail store; Under the direction of the Store Manager, maintain inventories, store appearance and completes day-to-day paperwork; Greet and assist customers in a positive, approachable manner; Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns; Maintain a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service; Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers; At the direction of the Store Manager, supervise, train and develop store team members on Company operating practices and procedures; Assist in unloading all merchandise from delivery truck, organize and transfer merchandise from stockroom to store; Assist Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping to include payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits/receipts; Assist Store Manager in loss prevention; Assume certain management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager; Follow all Company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 to apply; Possess reading comprehension and writing ability to perform duties at a level necessary for successful job performance; Prefer completion of High School or GED; Possess valid drivers license; Ability to read, interpret and explain to others operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.); Prefer Three (3) months of store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store environments; May be required to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; Possess adequate fitness level to meet daily demands of position; Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays; Customer focus, developing potential, results driven; Strong organizational and communication skills; Problem Solving/Decision Making, Job Knowledge and Relationship Management; Able to perform all necessary weekly delivery functions according to Company Guidelines; Ability to understand and implement Management directives; Accept direction; Application process may include a background check, drug testing and reference checks.
