SUMMARY:The Security MAC Team Leader manages onsite coordination and executes Security projects with a value of $15,000 or less, direct responsibility for project task execution and personnel supervision. Projects over $15,000 may be assigned based on backlog and/or scope of project. The Security MAC Team Leader position will require frequent travel with some overnight stays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages and leads security field personnel: Plans activities and work projects, assigns responsibility for carrying out and completing specific projects and duties; oversees training and performance management; provides mentoring, coaching, disciplinary action and/or performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Support Security service group and field personnel by providing technical advice and offering guidance.
  • Support Security service group with service calls if needed
  • May be called upon to assist other Security teams based on skill set and project scope
  • Supervise jobs for quality workmanship.
  • Schedule all manpower for project
  • Work with Project Coordinator to ensure all jobs are scheduled with customer
  • Serve as direct company contact for customers
  • Serve customers by answering inquires and responding to special requests.
  • Evaluate area safety needs/requirements to provide feedback and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Brady organization, promoting team involvement and meeting overall business goals
  • Review and approve weekly timecards no later than 5pm Monday
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Team Leader shall turn in all project paperwork for his/herself and their team on Friday before close of business. Paperwork that is to be turned shall consist of the following at a minimum
    • Mileage Logs
    • Jobsite Safety Audits
    • IP Spreadsheets
    • Project Completion Forms
  • Team Leader shall make sure that each project is signed off by the customer and the corresponding completion form has been completed and submitted to the Operations Leader and Project Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Perform all duties with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
  • Immediately address any customers concern and requests the involvement of other Company personnel as required

SAFETY:

  • Follow all company safety programs and report any non-compliance to your Team Leader
  • Notify Team Leader or Safety Manager of any unsafe conditions
  • Proper PPE equipment must be used at all times when necessary
  • Report all accidents and injuries to your Team Leader and HR immediately
  • All monthly training topics on safety completed and done during the month due

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Directly s pervises field employees in the Security Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalency required; 10 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of access control and CCTV systems. Experience in supervision/management of personnel is highly preferred.

    • Fire Alarm:
      • Autocall (4007ES, 4010ES and 4100ES)
      • NICET Certification
        • NICET Level I and II must be obtained within six months.
        • NICET Level III must be obtained within one year
  • Must possess an understanding and working knowledge of relays and relay logic
  • Must be proficient in wireless technologies such as Ubiquiti.

COMPUTER SKILLS:Frequentuse of computers, mobile devices and Microsoft products to manage business processes and tasks

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Valid driver's license

LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, policies, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, customers, and service personnel.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
