Summary
Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Greensboro, NC . This position will be responsible for the coordination required to ensure the timely order processing, product movement and delivey of products. Work is focused on customer satisfaction (internal and external) and achievement of long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to include, but not limited to the following:
Work with management to forecast, record and analyze inventory utilization needs for Specialty Crops & Oil locations.
Entry commodity movement orders for the raw materials, work in progress and finished goods of the department.
Proactively communicate with Perdue Traffic Team, inventory warehouses, third-party service providers and customers regarding the divisions shipping and inventory management needs.
Interact with farm, meal and oil customers and provide timely and professional customer service support.
Work with management to prepare raw material settlements for payment.
Work with sales, management and accounting to trouble shoot and resolve accounts receivable issues.
Provide accurate and timely data recording, cost accruals and other administrative support.
Assist with warehouse inventory management and record keeping.
Minimum Education
High School Graduate or GED required
Completion of AA or BA degree Preferred (Business or Administrative)
Experience Requirements
1-3 years of Professional experience
Academic focus in business, accounting or the sciences preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be motivated, accountable and proactive
Prior experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
Experience Preferred
- Prior experience or knowledge of agriculture
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Normal climate controlled office spaces. Able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to and from customer locations. Able to use standard office equipment to include telephone, computers, copiers etc. Able to move freely about plant and customer facilities. May be exposed to external weather conditions to include rain, snow and extreme temperatures (0 - 100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), and noise (50db to 100db). Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
