Dialysis experience is not required; we spend the first 9-12 weeks of employment in classroom and hands-on training! Must be comfortable working around blood and needles. Schedule Qualifications to Become a PCT at DaVita Full-time, 30-40 hours/week Clinic operating hours range from 4:00AM - 10:00PM, Monday - Saturday, closed Sundays All clinicians must be flexible to work 8-12 hour shifts, rotating Saturdays Schedules are made 3-4 weeks in advance, shifts are 10-12hrs Must be able to work opening and closing shifts, and some holidays Requirements to Become a PCT High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited high school or GED program. Must be comfortable working around blood and needles Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes!
