Job Title: Compounding Supervisor

Job Description

Responsible for the management of the blending plan, tank farm management, scale up of developed formulas, and assisting in the design of systems and processes for maintaining a top-tier blending operation. This includes interaction with customers during validation of systems and processes as well as the training and development of the Wet Process Tech/Blending team. This position works closely with Quality, Sales/Marketing, and handles all contract blending operations, satisfying internal and external customers. Additionally, the role is responsible for the management of the water purification system and processes, ensuring that internal and external customer production schedules are met on time and at specification. Participation in customer and site production planning meetings is required. The supervisor ensures all blending systems operate at standard cycle times and waste levels, masters product/technology knowledge for the field of application, and uses this knowledge to advise and coach colleagues. The role demands proactive orchestration of the Contract Blending Operation, maintaining a high level of visibility, and instilling a benchmark level of record keeping and housekeeping in the lab and blending areas.
