Grapevine client in the non profit sector seeking an interim controller

Job Details:

• Oversee financial strategies, activities, as well as the banking operations of the organization, ensuring they are in line with financial regulations and standards.

• Prepare budget reports, financial statements and special analysis for senior management to review.

• Participate in strategic planning and assist with predicting and planning for future financial challenges or opportunities.

• Establish accounting and financial reporting standards to ensure transparency and accountability.

• Supervise accounting staff and provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance job performance.

• Collaborate with auditors to ensure effective internal controls are in place.

• Ensure all financial reporting is completed accurately and on time, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as well as tax forms.

• Implement and manage effective financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.

• Oversee the organization's cash flow and forecasting to ensure financial sustainability.

• Monitor and review financial performance against budget, understanding and communicating variances.
