A picker packer, also known as an order picker, is a warehouse employee whopicks items from shelves and packs them for shipment:

• Picking:Locate items on shelves based on an order list
• Packing:Select the right packaging, such as boxes, tubes, or bubble wrap, to protect the items during transit
• Labeling:Print shipping labels with the correct address and tracking information
• Preparing for shipment:Stack items safely and securely in the shipping containers
• Tracking inventory:Use scanners to keep the warehouse's inventory catalog up to date
• Transporting:Use equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts to move goods within the warehouse
• Stocking:Stock and restock shelves in the warehouse
• Safety:Follow safety best practices to prevent injuries

Education
