As an Advanced Cryogenics Engineer here at Honeywell Advanced Connected Sustainable Technologies, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative cryogenic solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will collaborate with world-renowned engineers to design, test, and validate cryogenic systems and components for various applications. Your expertise in cryogenics and engineering principles will drive the development of cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our projects and programs.
In this role, you will impact the development of advanced cryogenic systems and components, ensuring high performance, reliability, and efficiency. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing cryogenic processes, conducting experiments and tests, analyzing data, and providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams. Your work will contribute to the advancement of cryogenic technologies in the areas of ultra high vacuum and hardware/software pump/valve control systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementing sample environments in support of laboratory experimentation
Designing and developing cryogenic systems
Performing low temperature laboratory experiments
Partnering with the Principal Investigator, Program Manager, and Project Engineers for project execution
Designing and optimizing cryogenic systems and components for various applications
Conducting experiments and tests to evaluate cryogenic performance and reliability
Analyzing data and providing technical guidance to cross-functional team
Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in cryogenics

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
5+ years of experience in cryogenics engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of cryogenic systems and components (vacuum, pumps, liquid nitrogen, purification, fluidics)
Experience in designing and optimizing cryogenic processes
WE VALUE
Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field
Proven track record of working with systems investigating physical phenomena, particularly as applied to cryogenic systems
Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Mathematica, SolidWorks)
Knowledge of cryogenic safety practices and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
