THE ROLE:The Parking Department has two categories: PScan, and Parking Lot Attendants. BNHP is looking for friendly, self-motivated staff members who enjoy working around people in a fast-paced outdoor environment and come to work with a positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities: PSCAN Major Duties and Responsibilities
Assist guests with locating their pre-paid tickets on a range of smartphones - Familiarity/comfort with technology such as smartphones a must
Direct arriving guest vehicles to the lot that matches what the guest has purchased in an organized, efficient, and welcoming manner.
Work closely with the BNHP Box Office/Backstage Staff when a parking verification is needed
Process pre-paid tickets through a ParkHub device
Process new sales by credit card, Apple pay, or cash; ensuring that all information is entered correctly – cash handling experience a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively not only by directing customers to the correct lot, but also ensuring that other staff are aware of where vehicles are headed.
Responsible for entering availability 3 weeks in advance through our ABIMM online system. Employee is further responsible for communicating with the supervisor should that availability change.
Ensuring that time worked is accurately captured through the ABIMM system.
Have a reliable form of transportation and communication
Dress in assigned uniform and safety gear.
Attend all training and meetings as needed.
Ability to use a radio in a respectful and concise manner.
May perform other duties as assigned
Parking Lot Attendant Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Help set up access roads and parking areas with cones, barriers, and delineators prior to ingress. Adjustments to those devices will be made during the concerts and prior to egress.
Direct arriving guest, clients, and vendors vehicles to the lot that matches what the guest has purchased in an organized, efficient, and welcoming manner.
Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
Help enforce tailgating and general parking policies with customers as needed.
Report any issues to a Supervisor, such as accidents, safety hazards or any unusual occurrences.
Pedestrian safety is paramount at BNHP. Attendants must always be cognizant of foot traffic during the course of their duties.
Direct departing guest vehicles to the proper exits in an organized, efficient, and friendly manner.
Help in removal of cones, barriers, and delineators, as needed, after egress has completed

Qualifications/Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
Strong verbal and nonverbal forms of communication skills are required for both positions.
Both categories require nights, weekends, and potentially holiday work in all types of weather.
Additionally, both positions require long hours of standing with almost no sitting.
Applicants will learn the layout of the parking lots and venue, in order to better serve our guests.
All applicants will become familiar with all BNHP venue policies and be proactive in helping to enforce those (i.e., bag sizes, lawn chairs, items prohibited, among others) policies.
Positions for all applicants will be assigned based on training, availability, skills, previous experience and needs for that evening’s show.
All applicants must be able to commit to at least 50 percent of shows. You may not be picked for all the shows but must be available.
