Basic Job Functions:

Crane Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for maintaining the facilitys Overhead cranes. Duties include but are not limited to inspection, calibration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical Crane equipment. This includes print reading, control circuits, AC/DC theory electrical and mechanical maintenance as it relates to the equipment. Will also work with and adhere to safe electrical practices. Teammates will use computerized maintenance management program/system to complete work orders, find and order parts, and to schedule maintenance work for their shift. This position will work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, holidays, and scheduled/unscheduled overtime.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Industrial electrical and mechanical skills and fundamental knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

• AS degree or similar technical training

• Knowledge/experience: electrical theory, digital/analog electronics, schematics, print reading, control circuits, computers/PLC programming, test instruments, power supplies, power distribution, AC/DC drives/motors, CMMS systems, 480V systems, high voltage, NFPA70E.

• Knowledge specific to industrial overhead crane maintenance including but not limited to; codes and specifications, PLCs, drive programming, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, NDT, crane inspections, and production practices.

• Crane maintenance experience both electrical and mechanical
