We are proud to offer a new opening for an Injection Molding Process Engineer , you will be responsible for the upkeep of equipment and processes to ensure product consistently meets quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct tool qualifications.

• Develop plastic processing project instructions to meet test specifications and objectives.

• Recommend and devise new or modified components for injection molding machinery.

• Conduct process window studies, design experiments, and perform tests for quality control and equipment performance.

• Use RJG or Kistler tooling for process development and monitoring.

• Develop processes using scientific methods including DOE and Window studies.

• Perform qualification studies (FOT, FAT, SAT) and validation studies (IQ, OQ, PQ).

• Analyze test results and adjust equipment to meet specifications.

• Record test procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements.

• Identify and document issues related to product, process, and quality systems.

• Model safe work practices and professional behavior for employees.

• Master the areas of the quality system.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Experience and Skills

A qualified candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED; a two-year technical college or four-year university program in a related field is preferred.

• 5-7 years of experience in plastics injection molding.

• Knowledge of injection molding processes.

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
