What does the job involve?

Being responsible for providing strategic, as well as operational procurement and contract management in line with category strategies. The process includes ensuring compliance with corporate governance, mandates, laws, and regulations through development and documentation of scopes, specific procurement strategies, sourcing, tendering, evaluation, contract negotiations, approvals, award, contract management, handling of claims and warranties, and purchasing. Effective project and stakeholder management through collaboration and clear roles and responsibilities with customers, decision makers, suppliers, and partners. Outcomes are commercial and effective contracts and procedures serving timely, cost-effective and sustainable supply of goods and services to the business.

What will my tasks be?

Within this position, your key tasks will be to:

  • Conduct procurement activities related to establishing and managing agreements. Ensure safety, security and sustainability in procurement.

  • Establish agreement: Establish Specific Procurement Strategies according to business need, relevant Category Strategies and market input and other relevant activities.

  • Implement contract(s) in all systems (Plan-to-Pay).

  • Give input to risk-based follow-up plan, to ensure agreement understanding and compliance.

  • Manage performance and relations, including safeguarding correct use of the contract and follow up of KPI (Key performance Index) and ensuring SOX-control.

  • Handle contractual issues, change in agreement, including Variation order requests (VOR), variation orders (VO), amendments, Options, Request for rate adjustments, perform cancellation and termination of contract.

  • Perform internal and external stakeholder management as well as supplier relations management.

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in relevant area.

  • Minimum 7 years or procurement experience. Ideal candidate has hands on experience from operation and maintenance of onshore windfarms or conventional powerplants.

  • Candidates with a strong focus on compliance in regard to safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values.

  • Great communication skills, you communicate independently within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties.

  • Candidates who work independently towards solving highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk and likes to resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices.

  • Fluency in English and Polish language.
