Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Staff Accountantt to join our team. This role involves managing and entering cash receipts into Blackbaud and overseeing various third-party receipt systems. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in accounting principles, a keen eye for detail, and a strong proficiency in Excel. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately enter and manage cash receipts in Blackbaud. * Oversee and reconcile multiple third-party receipt systems. * Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy. * Record and track fixed assets. * Manage deferred revenue and ensure compliance with accounting standards. * Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights. * Utilize Excel for data management, including the use of pivot tables, V-lookups, and other advanced functions. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including fixed asset recording, bank reconciliation, and deferred revenue. * Proficiency in Blackbaud or similar accounting software. * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups. * Experience in an educational environment is a plus. * Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data effectively.
