New York Plastic Surgical Group is looking for a self pay collections specialist to join our Garden City, NY office.

LOCATION: Garden City/Remote. HYBRID SCHEDULE

Training is in the Garden City office for approximately 3 months

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:

  • Help manage the A/R by performing all aspects of the account follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely collection

  • Collect delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients that include monitoring payments as well as following up with payments when lapses occur

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • 2-3 years of high-volume collections experience

  • An understanding of medical billing and third-party reimbursement in order to accurately answer patient inquiries efficiently, is a plus, but not required

  • General knowledge of CPT/ICD10 Coding

Compensation: $23.00-$26.00
