ATCC Account Manager in Gaithersburg, Maryland
Overview
Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking an Account Manager for a hybrid role based in Manassas, VA. This role requires 2 days a week in office and may be based in either Manassas, VA or Gaithersburg, MD.
Join our team as an Account Manager, where you'll be the linchpin in fostering and preserving our client relationships. Your role will be pivotal, ensuring client satisfaction and retention by delivering tailored solutions and being their go-to resource. Collaborating with internal teams, you'll orchestrate seamless product/service delivery, spot upselling opportunities, and drive our organization's growth. As Account Manager, this role will also support new product launches as well as interact with our internal licensing team. Come make a difference and be a key player in our success story!

Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Engagement: Sell products/services via various channels, act as post-sale point of contact, and focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth to meet quotas. Develop new accounts, generate referrals, and cultivate existing accounts through ongoing client contact and support.
Customer Support and Relationship Managemen t : Provide customer support, communicate transaction information, offer guidance on products/services based on customer needs, and maintain ongoing relationships through follow-up and support. Gather customer information and provide recommendations accordingly.
Sales Strategy and Acount Management: Execute sales strategy, close sales within defined parameters, and manage custom solution work. Generate sales reports, identify opportunities to increase sales volume, and ensure service levels are met. Complete administrative tasks to maintain accuracy in CRM database and stay updated on organizational products and services.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent experience.
A scientific background (microbiology or biology preferred) and familiarity with sales, marketing and business skills are required.
Proven sales track record , meeting or exceeding quotas.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and problem-solving.
Experience in sales strategy execution and CRM proficiency .
Proficient in product knowledge and adaptable to changing priorities.
