We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. This role involves a variety of essential accounting functions, from posting cash receipts to managing collections and ensuring financial accuracy across accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of credit insurance, and the ability to foster positive teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $20 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

1) Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related

information.

2) Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements;

obtaining authorization of payment.

3) Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds;

identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.

4) Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts; notifying customers of insufficient

payments.

5) Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.

6) Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.

7) Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing payments or

adjustments.

8) Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.

9) Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.

10) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
