Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $157,373.00-211,500.00 per year and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Maximize product success as measured by product revenue and adoption. Define, validate, and prioritize target market requirements, and work directly with world-wide customers/partners to identify unmet needs. Work with development teams to define product roadmap and solutions that meet market requirements and outperform the competition, while minimizing time-to-market. Develop and execute product campaigns such as new product launches and targeted market segment proliferation campaigns. Anticipate bottlenecks, identify opportunities, manage risk and escalations, and balance the business and user needs versus technical constraints. Enable field and sales channel success with effective sales training and support. Perform competitive analysis and issue internal competitive response bulletins. Perform consumer research and summarize user insights and feedback to aid product plans. Develop high quality marketing content (e.g., website content, collateral, presentations). Support corporate marketing, partnership programs, and application development. Present product updates to customers and build relationships. Identifying technical requirements of upcoming business deals, identifying development technical and schedule risks, identifying intra-division dependencies, making priority calls for product enhancements, and ensuring timely product readiness for winning business. Represent Siemens EDA in industry events with technical product presentations and customer collaborated presentations.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Nanoengineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer, Research & Development Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
EDA product/technical marketing or experience in customer-facing engineering roles;
Circuit design and EDA verification tools;
Coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules;
Performing financial analysis on forecasted and closed deals for executive reports, and drive prioritization with development teams and sales teams to maximize revenue;
Defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications and coordinating efforts to scope;
Working with project management tools including Microsoft project, JIRA and Atlassian confluence;
Working with marketing tools including Camtasia, ON24, Microsoft, Wordpress and Wrike;
Providing technical trainings and workshops to customers and potential clients, both in group and individual settings.
25% international and domestic travel is required. Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policy. [HYBRID role]
