PeopleReady Skilled Trades is actively seeking an experienced BOMAG 2200-75 asphalt milling machine operator. The BOMAG 2200-75 milling machine is a heavy-duty piece of equipment designed to remove existing asphalt surfaces from roads, parking lots, and other paved areas with precision and efficiency.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $34 - $37 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including the BOMAG 2200-75 milling machine, skid steer loaders, and backhoe

• Remove old asphalt layers and prepare surfaces for repaving

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery

• Monitor the milling process to ensure the appropriate depth and width

• Assist in transporting machines as needed

• Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance and work performed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience operating asphalt machinery.

• Class A license Preferred.

• Strong communication experience.

• Clean driving record with the ability to pass a tier 1 background including MVR.

• Prior skid steer/backhoe experience a plus in addition to asphalt milling equipment.

• Ability to work any required overtime.

• Transportation to and from jobsites daily.

• Able to work in various weather conditions .

• Bi-lingual a plus.
