Job Summary
- Operate a tri-axle dump truck hauling road materials for a road construction. This is a union position.
Main Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate tri-axle dump truck
Operate a standard shift truck safely
Responsible for cleaning and greasing truck
Responsible for informing supervisor of any vital truck repairs
Responsible to communicate safety concerns to supervisor / management
Create and maintain a safe work environment
Build professional relationships with work site supervisors to improve collaboration
Responsible to participate in daily safety huddles
Required to follow all DOT regulations and company policies
Education
High School diploma or equivalent experience
CDL Class B License at minimum
Skills
Safe operation of a standard shift tri-axle truck
Required to know DOT regulations and qualifications
Physical Requirements
Able to safely operate a standard tri-axle dump truck
Physical ability to stand, walk, climb in and out of the tri-axle, and perform maintenance and safety checks
May require some lifting
Willing to work in various weather conditions and shifts
