CNC Screw Operator

Currently hiring a CNC Screw Operator in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift : Opening on all 3 shifts available.

• 1st shift: - 7am-3:30pm

• 2nd shift: - 3pm-11pm

• 3rd shift: - 11pm-7am

Job Description:

• Read blueprints and job orders to determine part specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.

• Prepare the machine for production by setting cutting speeds and feed rates, cutting and grinding tools, and loading raw stock into the machine.

• Operate the machine and inspect parts to ensure they meet production specifications.

• Make adjustments as necessary to facilitate proper production.

• Maintain machinery before, after, and during production, including cleaning and returning tools to the tool crib.

• Replace worn tools, perform minor repairs, troubleshoot machinery, and assist other screw machine employees as needed.

• Adhere to all quality and safety practices.

• Perform other functions as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience with industrial machinery/CNC Screw Machines

Work Environment:

This is a smaller manufacturing facility that is relatively clean but has constant noise, requiring the use of ear plugs. The environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be hot or cold depending on the weather. You will work as part of a team with two other CNC operators.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
