CNC Screw Operator
Currently hiring a CNC Screw Operator in the Frankfort, IL area. Hiring immediately.
Shift : Opening on all 3 shifts available.
1st shift: - 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift: - 3pm-11pm
3rd shift: - 11pm-7am
Job Description:
Read blueprints and job orders to determine part specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
Prepare the machine for production by setting cutting speeds and feed rates, cutting and grinding tools, and loading raw stock into the machine.
Operate the machine and inspect parts to ensure they meet production specifications.
Make adjustments as necessary to facilitate proper production.
Maintain machinery before, after, and during production, including cleaning and returning tools to the tool crib.
Replace worn tools, perform minor repairs, troubleshoot machinery, and assist other screw machine employees as needed.
Adhere to all quality and safety practices.
Perform other functions as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience with industrial machinery/CNC Screw Machines
Work Environment:
This is a smaller manufacturing facility that is relatively clean but has constant noise, requiring the use of ear plugs. The environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be hot or cold depending on the weather. You will work as part of a team with two other CNC operators.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
