DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Corrections General Industries Factory Foreperson, you will oversee advanced manufacturing processes within SCI Frackville and provide instruction, training, and supervision to inmates regarding the practices and procedures of the industry. This includes planning, assigning, reviewing, and evaluating their work, as well as maintaining training progress reports, wage reports, and attendance records. Additionally, you will ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of tools and equipment, and uphold established standards of quality and quantity during production.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40-hours per week Work hours are 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $48,425.00 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in the production of goods or services; or An associate degree in industrial technology, operations management, business administration, or a related field; and one year of work experience in the production of goods or services; or An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of work experience in the production of goods or services.
Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania is required. You must meet thePA residency requirement.
